Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2091C-25G, is a differential pressure transducer, essentially, this is an instrument used in HVAC systems that quantifies the pressure differential across two points of the system. It then translates this pressure difference to an electrical signal of 4-20 milliamps. This signal is then relayed to electronic control systems in HVAC equipment to enable it to oversee different functions. Differential pressure transducers are essentialin the proper functioning of HVAC systems. They are used in monitoring air filters. A clogged filter increases the pressure drop across it and this is measurable by the transducer. This informs the control system to arrange filter replacement to allow the best air flow and save energy.
