Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2641-0R5D is a high-accuracy differential pressure transducer for accurate measurement of the differential pressure in HVAC systems. This is achieved by converting the pressure differential between two points in a duct into an electrical signal of 4-20mA. This signal is then transmitted to an automation system for purposes of monitoring and control. This transducer has a pressure range of 0 to 0.5 inches WC and is particularly useful for measuring low pressure in VAV systems, FFU, and P-IC systems. The DPT2641-0R5D enables the control of pressure differentials to allow for the right amount of airflow to be passed through the HVAC system. This is several times advantageous, for instance, it brings about comfort improvement, enhanced energy efficiency, and decreased equipment wear on furnaces.
