Description
The Johnson Controls F-700-6 is a 1/4″ tee fitting that has a brass material. It is a three-way branching piece, which is used to make joints in refrigerant lines or compressed air circuits. This particular tee has compression fittings on both ends for connection to soft copper tubing and in the middle is a male National Pipe Thread for threading into a valve or gauge. The compression fittings consist of a nut and ferrule; the ferrule is slipped over the tubing and the nut is tightened around it, giving a tight seal and thus no leakage. The male NPT threads on the center port enable the connection of equipment with female NPT threads to be fitted.
