Description
The Johnson Controls VFM-040HB-000N is a 4″ two-way manually operated butterfly valve that is best suited for many HVAC applications, such as chilled water systems, hot water lines, and condenser water loops. It controls the flow by simply turning a disc within the valve body. Closing and opening the disc is done by turning a hand lever, which offers full flow when opened and no flow at all when closed. The structure of this design is quite basic, and this means that it is easy to work on individual components of the system when they are being serviced or repaired. It has a pressure rating of 175 PSI, which will adequately suit most HVAC systems.
