Description
The KMC Controls MCP-1040-5208 Actuator Assembly is a pneumatic control used to adjust the damper position in air distribution machines in HVAC systems. It has 4″ of linear movement in response to an 8-13 PSI signal, which transforms the changes in the control air pressure into fine mechanical movement to adjust the airflow in duct systems. It is part of the building automation, and it is mounted to dampers through a B-joint connection to ensure a balance of temperature and ventilation. Its specified range of pressure is useful in fine-tuning the airflow and universal system response.
