Description
The KMC Controls MCP-1140-3520 Damper Actuator is used to adjust the position of the damper to control airflow in the system. It is powered by pneumatic pressure of 5-10 PSI to give a 4-inch stroke with the damper blade being moved by a clevis linkage to position it accurately. It is attached to damper assemblies in ductwork of HVAC systems, and it interacts with controllers and air distribution elements to control airflow. This actuator aids in proper airflow regulation, balance in the system, operational efficiency and stable operation of air handling equipment.
