Description
The KMC Controls STE-1404 12″ rigid duct temperature sensor used for HVAC systems. It uses a 10K Type III thermistor to precisely measure air temperature in ductwork. The working concept of this sensor is that it senses changes in air temperature and this change in air temperature alters the resistance of the thermistor. The resistance change is then converted to a temperature reading by the HVAC system. Instrument used commonly in ventilation, air conditioning systems that helps optimize performance of HVAC systems through generation of precise data for controlled equipment such as air handlers. The design is rigid, durable and the readings are accurate in the duct. It offers a temperature control and makes the system more efficient.
