Description
The Lennox 57W87 is a Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger, an essential part of Lennox HVAC products. It effectively means the heat exchange between the refrigerant and the air is made. During heating mode, it takes heat from the hot refrigerant and uses it to warm the air in the home. During the cooling mode, it gets heat from the air and releases it on the cooler refrigerator liquid. It is made of stainless steel to reduce corrosion. Any parts that are worn, or have cracked surfaces can be replaced to restore the heat exchanger.
