Description
The Lennox 60M52 is a 3/8-Inch solenoid valve used with systems that utilize R410 refrigerant in heating and cooling. Solenoid valves are the electrical operated valves that control the flow of refrigerant by opening and closing on the basis of the signal received from the thermostat or control board. Put in simple terms, when the thermostat calls on the HVAC to start cooling or heating, the solenoid valve unlocks and lets the refrigerant to circulate in the system. When the thermostat is happy the solenoid valve shuts and no more refrigerant can flow through it.
