The Lennox Y7256 Fan Motor is a brushless DC fan motor, and as such has been engineered to operate in various HVAC applications while consuming less power and being highly reliable. It is also used in circulating air within the system evaporator or condenser coils intended for achieving the right heat exchange and temperature control. It reduces friction because it is brushless hence it has a longer motor life, operates quietly and is more energy efficient than the standard motors. The Fan Motor mainly used in Lennox air conditioners and heat pumps regularly blow air across the indoor coil, this not only helps to keep the indoor temperatures consistent but also reduces the load on the compressor.
