Maxitrol R400B10-1022 Red Spring is a calibrated pressure of R400 series gas regulators, which are adjusted to maintain an outlet pressure between 10 and 22 inches water column in HVAC systems. It works as the mechanical component that dictates the response of the regulator through compressing against the diaphragm assembly to attain the desired range of gas pressure. It is an installed component in the regulator body when assembling or servicing it to change or modify the control range.
