Description
The Mueller Industries AI15504 is a pressure relief valve used to protect an HVAC system from pressure rising beyond the safe limit. It is a small, independent valve that is inserted directly into a pipe line. In the normal working condition, the valve is in the closed position. The valve opens when pressure approaches a given set pressure of 425 PSI, thus reducing pressure which is harmful to equipment. The AI15504 has a 1/2” NPT female inlet for threaded connections and a 5/8” female flare outlet for a brazed connection for refrigerant lines.
