The Resideo AM08-040LF is a Lead-Free Mixing Valve Tailpiece, a high-quality mixing valve that can be used in any HVAC system. This 1” valve is constructed of brass and has a sweat connection which ensures a tight and secure fit. It works between 70°F and 180°F and has a pressure of up to 150 PSI. The mixing valve is primarily designed to mix hot and cold water sources and achieve the necessary output temperature so comfort is maintained with the HVAC system water temperatures.
