The Resideo RC840 Electromechanical Relay is a compact device that is designed to manage line voltage resistive loads through a low voltage thermostat. This relay operates at 24V AC and is an intermediary switch; it enables a low voltage control signal to safely control high voltage circuits. Its dimensions are 2.87”H x 1.87”L x 3.34”W, thus can be easily installed in HVAC control panels. The relay works in the temperature range of 32F…140F which will allow using it in a wide range of interior conditions. It is used often in HVAC systems to control elements like electric heating and fans among others.
