The Resideo VS820A1054 is a millivolt combination gas valve designed for automatic control of natural gas-fired heating appliances. It combines several key functions into one unit: a manual gas shut-off valve, a safety shutoff for pilot flame loss, and an automatic valve that opens and closes based on signals from a millivolt thermostat. This 1eliminates the need for a separate electrical power source for the valve. The valve itself is made of durable aluminum and features a 3/4-inch NPT connection for easy installation into most gas lines.
