Description
The Rheem-Ruud AS-106282-83 Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) Assembly is a well part which is used in the advanced HVAC systems for the regulation of the refrigerant. The EEV Assembly operates based on the amount of refrigerant that can be allowed into the evaporator coil depending on data obtained from the temperature and pressure sensors. This electronic regulation helps in the regulation of the flow of the refrigerant and in the process enhancing the efficiency of the system and at the same time providing the required cooling. The EEV regulates the flow of the refrigerant to the cooling requirement hence it does not allow the system to provide either excess refrigerant or insufficient refrigerant which is uneconomical in its usage.
