Description
The Schneider Electric (Erie) VS2342 2-Position Zone Valve which specifically works in steam and high-temperature HVAC system applications. The 3/4″ inverted flare valve with 2.5 Cv flow coefficient enables steam or hot water flow control. The electric actuator of this valve controls flow through the valve port by opening or closing it according to signals from thermostats or building management systems. The valve operates in HVAC system zoning systems to distribute steam or hot water between different zones and heating/cooling units including fan coil units baseboard heaters and air handlers. Temperature control in a distinct areas becomes highly precise through this method which results in better energy efficiency.
