Description
The Sensus-Gas Division 019-01029-001 Orifice 496 is a gas metering component that is a precision fuel part utilized in gas-fired HVAC systems to control the flow of natural gas or propane to burners. It acts as a variable restriction that is controlled by a 1/8-inch diameter aperture that forms a restriction that is required to get the right amount of gas into the system to be burned. This is the process of fitting the orifice in the gas train of the appliance at the intended fitting.
