Description
The Sensus-Gas Division 143-IRV-1 is a gas pressure regulator designed to operate safely and efficiently in a variety of home and commercial HVAC applications. To operate, it automatically lowers the supply line’s high-pressure gas pressure to a constant, lower pressure that is appropriate for air conditioners, boilers, and furnaces. A 1-inch internal relief valve in the regulator releases excess gas if downstream pressure rises above a predetermined threshold, providing added safety. The 3/8-inch orifice size determines the maximum gas flow rate. It is possible to monitor and alter the downstream pressure as necessary with a green, 6–14-inch water column pressure gauge.
