Siemens GDE163.1P is the electronic damper actuator to control the position of dampers within the HVAC systems. A Non-Spring Return mechanism was used in which the dampers can be precisely positioned according to the control signal. With a torque output it can operate dampers within its capability. This actuator is designed to work in situations and is in situations with 95% humidity. It is adaptable to control systems using a 0–10 VDC signal for control and a common 24 VAC supply for power. One of the main benefits is that it is adjustable span and offset to customise to meet damper requirements.
