Description
Siemens GRD121.1U is an electronic fire and smoke actuator which activates HVAC dampers in response to fire or smoke detection. This device has a spring return mechanism that will close the damper quickly in the even. It runs on 24V power source and generates of torque to drive the damper. When there is a fire or smoke signal, this actuator will close the damper and apply torque to it to stop spread of smoke and fire. Under typical situations, the spring return mechanism keeps the damper open. Because of its small size and NEMA Type 1 housing, it can be used for a wide range of HVAC applications.
