Description
The Trane FAN1214 is a three-bladed centrifugal fan that is aimed at moving air in HVAC systems with ease. It has a shaft diameter of 1/2 inch and an impeller diameter of 22 inches. The CW in the designation indicates that the fan rotates clockwise In simple terms CW means Clockwise while AC means Anticlockwise. A centrifugal fan operates under the principle of inducing the axial flow of air and discharging it radially outward. They are suitable for applications that need high airflow at moderate static pressure as designed. In layman’s terms, they are effective in blowing air over a short distance. Trane fans are mainly used in AHUs and other HVAC systems which are placed at rooftops.
