The Trane KIT16112 is a Microchannel Repair Kit catering for repair needs of leaks and any other damage that affects microchannel coils in HVAC systems. The KIT16112 is portable and also light, it measures 26.3 x 22.6 x 9 cm. Microchannel coils are more reliable from tube and fin condenser coils, but they required more precise manufacture. The KIT16112 also contains the relevant elements of the repair of the leaks in the microchannel coil tubes. It is most suitable to be used where the leakage is within the coil tube because leakage on the header assembly is mostly irreparable because of aluminum make and high coefficient of thermal expansion.
