Description
The Trane SWT3814 is a Pressure Switch Single-Pole Double-Throw, for Trane HVAC equipment like furnaces and air handlers, with dimensions of 4.8 inches. Monitoring the pressure within the system becomes an operating and safety switch to monitor. The switch turns on and off the control board when the pressure is on if there is a minor vacuum of -0.5” W.C. This signal can be used for many things such as starting the inducer fan to expel trapped gasses before ignition or to shut down the burner when the pressure becomes too high.
