Description
The Trane THT0165 Stat Cap in Trane thermostats ensures your air conditioners are precisely tuned to the cool. The sensor on this cap is a 24” capillary tube filled with liquid or gas. When the ambient temperature changes from 45°F to 65°F the sensor expands or contracts the fill material in the capillary tube. The pressure difference is then transmitted to a mechanism in the thermostat that adjusts the system’s heating or cooling output to keep the target temperature. The THT0165 Stat Cap will work with voltages from 175 to 250 volts and is therefore compatible with most conventional HVAC systems.
