Description
The Trane TRR0548 is a Foot-Mounted Transformer with the equipment receiving incoming high voltage normally 208 or 230 volts, and reduces it to the safer and more suitable voltage of 24 volts. Low-voltage circuits, relays, thermostats, and other components that are commonly incorporated in HVAC systems need this lower voltage to work. This voltage is supplied by the transformer ensuring that the control components operate as required. Maintaining consistent temperatures and avoiding faults, enables your HVAC system to be more efficient and reliable in general.
