Description
The Trane TRR1016 is a Transformer, specifically for use in HVAC equipment. In a nutshell, it’s an electrical device that changes the voltage level of electrical current. Usually, the stepped-down voltage from the primary voltage is lower compared to the main voltage. The Trane can handle a primary voltage of 208–240 volts and reduces it to 24 volts on the secondary side. Better suited to this lower voltage and safer to run are HVAC system control circuits. The transformer itself has comparatively small dimensions 4.38″. Its foot mounting style makes it easy to install within an HVAC unit. The transformer converts a safe voltage level.
