The Trane VAL2852 Thermal Expansion Valve is an element of HVAC systems that is used for accurate control of refrigerant. This valve features a brass seat trim and has a perfectly balanced port flow control mechanism that properly regulates refrigerant flow to enhance the cooling process. Designed primarily for R-22 refrigerant, it works with systems with up to 37-ton cooling load capacity, which is perfect for commercial use. This model is 7” long with sweat-type connections of 7/8” inlet and 1-3/8” outlet sizes to ensure that it is easy to install and operate. Designed to withstand the pressure of up to 450 MWP PSI, it comes as an ideal brass product, durable and long-lasting in extreme conditions.
