Description
The Trane VAL3614 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialpart of your Trane air conditioning system, While other valves are simply open or closed, the TXV is essential to effective cooling. The TXV uses a thermal sensor bulb that is connected by a long slender capillary tube to regulate the refrigerant that flows into the evaporator coil depending on its temperature. It is easy to install due to the sweat connections it has and comes with a non-bleed feature for accurate regulation of refrigerant. Made of high-quality stainless steel it is compatible with R-22 refrigerant and has a pressure rating of up to 500 PSI. The Trane TXV is normally used on air conditioners that have a cooling capacity of 1 ton.
