The Trane VAL6930 Thermal Expansion Valve is one of the essentialelements of HVAC equipment, providing an R410A refrigerant and equipped for up to a 5-ton rated cooling load. Included with a sweat connection type, it employs a thermal actuator for controlling refrigerant inlet and outlet by the performance needs of the system. Standard in most air conditioning systems and heat pumps maintains the proper flow of refrigerant while adjusting the flow rate according to conditions to maintain a constant level of cooling. The pressure regulator settings are 90/86 PSI and help in the regulation of the refrigeration fluid to ensure suitable temperatures and stability of the system.
