Description
The Trane VAL7242 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, an essentialpart of the air conditioning system for big areas. While simple off-and-on valves, the TXV has significance in the cooling process. The TXV employs a thermal sensor bulb, fixed with a capillary tube, where the amount of coolant that enters the evaporator coil is regulated according to the temperature. Made from high-quality stainless steel it is compatible with R-22 refrigerant and has a working pressure of up to 52 PSI. TXV is used in air conditioning systems of 5 tons in capacity. Through precise control of the refrigerant flow and effective operation, the TXV achieves high levels of cooling capacity and comfort in large spaces.
