Description
The Trane VAL8210 reversing valve is an essential component of heat pump systems using R-22, R-407C, or R-410A refrigerants. This reversing valve, which has no internal coil, directs refrigerant flow through the system to either heat or cool. The Trane VAL8210 has been designed to operate in a heating mode during the heat distribution process; hot refrigerant gas from the compressor is directed to the indoor unit. When it’s in cooling mode it reverses things, sending cold liquid refrigerant out from the outside unit to the indoor coil in air conditioner mode. The Outside Diameter Sweat connection allows the valve to be brazed or soldered into copper refrigerant lines for a secure and leak-free connection.
