The York S1-025-35350-000 is a 5-ton thermal expansion valve (TXV) utilized to enable precise control of the refrigerant in HVAC systems. This TXV is compatible with R-22 refrigerant and measures 3/8″ x 3/8” for the input and output connections with a 30″ capillary tube. It regulates the quantity of the refrigerant to facilitate heat exchange while regulating the mechanical velocities of the system. This valve is required for York air conditioning units and other associated HVAC facilities so that the cooling capacity and performance of the equipment are enhanced.
